Most people in the Yorkshire area are pretty content with their jobs.  They may not always feel like going in to work, but they are happy enough when they get there.  Yet some people dread going to their place of employment each day, simply because of the way they are treated.

We all know that the workplace is not based around fun, but a small amount of employers seem to enjoy making life miserable for their staff.  They are rude, overbearing and downright out of order.  Some of this is merely down to their personality and we just have to accept them for the way that they are.  However, there can be more to it than that.

Sexual harassment and racist remarks can still go on in the workplace from time to time.  We all know that this is totally unacceptable behaviour and any instances of it should always be reported straight away.  If we are victim to this, then it is our duty to make sure that it does not happen to anyone else.  By choosing to simply bite our tongues and ignore it, we are allowing it to go unpunished.
